Online Gaming Taking Over Because of Reccession?

There’s been multiple reports of online gaming going up in the recession and not online console gaming i mean online PC Internet gaming or PC online gaming because its cheaper and maybe more funner but i don’t know. here’s some of the games people might start playing: Run escape,World OF War craft,EVE,Ever quest,Final Fantasy, adventure quest,Guild wars And many other es like these free or monthly subscription games and some might be run on java and some might be run of the PC because there quite big like wow.

This could leed to less members to xbox and PS3 online gaming some might even sell there consoles .personally i think that xbox live i cheap £40 a year wow is £10 a month so that’s £120 3 times as much as xbox live and some of the xbox games might be funner and half the reason the online games are going up is because there addictive. The worst that could happen is that the consoles don’t get any sales and go out of business but like Microsoft the makers of PCs are going to go bankrupt or if Sony going to either.

Apparently there’s been a big boost in online gaming in Korea china and japan so could i come to Europe. Also online rpg are time consuming getting levels up and stuff and apparently people have more time on there hands so there online games arnt so time consuming now.I personally think that its a little boost in the sales for online gaming that’s all and i don’t think its going to affect the console market.

  1. Hey michael ;D

Well personally i used to love PC online gaming, as you probs know, but at the moment im finding it boring, too many updates with a lot of games, i tried going back to guild wars, and at first it was pretty fun, but after under a week i began to get bored of it, and now i no longer game on my PC as it mostly seems to get viruses etc, i’ve played pretty much all the mostly popular PC games, and as most are on steam – which damages my computer, so i doubt it would be taking over but it’s an interesting question.
