Recently Ive been playing viking battle for Asgard a hack n slash action adventure game.its one of my top 10 games and i think its brilliantly designed.

Hers the story A fierce struggle is taking place within Asgard , the realm of the Norse Gods. The battle between you and hels legions has escalated , spilling over to the mortal world of Migard and now a Champion must be found (you) a warrior that can turn the tide  of this war, which threatens the fate of Asgard and the Gods.

The Goddess Hel – the daughter of Loki (Norse god of mischief) has been banished from Asgard for defying Odin’s rule. Annoyed  at her fate, she seeks to release the ancient wolf-god Fenirr which legend tells will bring about Ragnarok the apocalyptic battle that will destroy Asgard and the gods.

so you skarin the chosen champion must battle through several islands. each island has different location marked with icons Throughout the game you can take or liberate legion held locations on the three main islands. This can range from sneaking into a lumber mill and freeing the Vikings held there, (who will help destroy the Legion garrison) to launching an all-out one-man assault against a quarry or tower.

The game features an open-world experience witch is why i really like it  with three islands in the world of  midgard which you can explore freely. you can search and find captured Viking soldiers and rescue them, and in return they can assist him in battles.

The world has plenty of castles which that you can attack and capture. When you complete or exhaust all the missions in each island, he must fight a large battle, which can be a great siege or a clash between large armies this is one of the best features in the game.

One of the main features of the game is the large armies  in many battles there can be hundreds of soldiers fighting to the death. And you must use different ways of weaken the enemy, such as killing their shaman who summons enemy troops, or getting into the main fight and use combat moves and combos to kill enemy soldiers and champions(massive Giant creatures witch you must use combos to kill) who drop dragon Runes. These runes can be used to call upon dragons to attack enemies from the air, destroying them with fire.After mascaraing the army they will retreat into the castle/fort witch then you’ll have to use the same tactics as before.
